Qualifications:
Valid Driver\'s License required. High School diploma or equivalent. Reliable transportation. Trade school certification may be considered.

Responsibilities:
Work is performed under supervisor and is reviewed by supervisor for results obtained. Performs the maintenance, trouble shoot and repair of all equipment in treatment plants and lift stations. Coordinates and performs preventative maintenance functions in accordance with predetermined schedules. Drives, maintains, and operates boom trucks, and other maintenance vehicles and machinery all within City limits. Pulls trailer-mounted generators to lift stations and operates the stations when City power is disrupted or when required. Complies maintenance and repair data and enters data into computerized asset management system for system reports and records. Perform back flow testing once certified. Be able to accept verbal and written task from Supervisor or Lead Mechanic. Maintains detailed and accurate records and logs of all work performed, vehicle inspections, supplies/materials used, and conditions observed. Have the ability to work outside and during inclement weather events for 24-hour period. Monitor work environment and use of safety equipment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals
