Role Overview
As a Sr. Interior Architect/Designer & Project Lead, you will be responsible for steering interior architecture projects from concept through construction, ensuring that each project reflects a commitment to excellence, timeless design, and collaborative execution.
Key Responsibilities

Lead conceptual development, mood boards, space planning, and design narratives.

Champion design quality from early visioning through to construction detailing.

Guide FF&E strategies, selections, and specifications in coordination with team members.

Present design ideas clearly and convincingly to clients and collaborators.

Manage all project phases: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to align schedules, budgets, and resourcing.

Ensure project deliverables meet studio standards and contractual obligations.

Oversee documentation workflows in Revit, including coordination with technical team members.

Maintain weekly project status updates and track performance against key milestones.

Manage construction administration tasks as required by project scope.

Mentor and oversee junior designers and technical staff; conduct weekly design reviews ahead of principal sign-off.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or Architecture (required).

NCIDQ certification, AIA membership, or LEED/WELL accreditation is a strong plus.

Minimum 7+ years of professional experience, with a record of leading projects through all design and construction phases.

Portfolio must include built work and clearly show strength across programming, schematic design, design development, and documentation.

Strong knowledge of workplace, hospitality, and/or mixed-use projects preferred.

Demonstrated ability to balance creative vision with technical constraints, budget, and timelines.

Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Deep understanding of materials, furniture, lighting, and finish specification workflows.

Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
