Overview:


Responsible for the day-to-day clinical operations at the Bella Grove Brio Primary Care location along with the Co-Site Coordinator and Patient Experience Host Coordinator. Supervises clinical team including Medical Assistants, Certified Medical Assistants Phlebotomists, X-ray Techs, and Registered Nurses. Actively promotes teamwork among all clinical team members, adherence to applicable processes and procedures, provision of consistent quality care to all patients, and delivery of the overall patient experience in keeping with Brio Values. Actively communicates with Brio’s Medical Directors and other coordinators to ensure open communication and consistency of expectations. As a critical leader for the clinical team, this person must have a strong visible presence in the clinical areas, and balance working in all areas alongside his/her team with administrative responsibilities (creating team member schedules, 1-on-1’s, etc.). Practices humility and grace, promoting an authentic and transparent work environment within all areas.


Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates daily clinical team operational activities at by working closely with the Manager, Medical Directors and other Coordinators.
  • Actively works in all areas to role model servant leadership, remains apprised of issues, concerns, etc. on the team, and promotes communication through an environment that embraces candor, feedback and openness.
  • Provides oversight and direction for the clinical team to include: developing team member work schedules, new hire/termination, 1:1 meetings, annual performance reviews, training and other personnel issues. Educates and ensures consistent performance in keeping with all practice policies, processes and procedures, etc.
  • Takes ownership of ensuring the “Brio Way” is experienced by patients, families, and team members. Promotes an authentic, transparent work environment within all areas. Ensures consistency between Brio and the other locations.
  • In conjunction with the clinical manager, assists with managing the clinical operations within budget. Prepares staffing plans and ensures adequate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Collaborates with Brio’s leadership team to implement new programs, changes to processes and procedures, etc. Helps develop and carry out team short term and long-term goals for each department.
  • Works with the Director regarding scheduling and admin updates/processes/changes.
  • Ensures building is maintained/well-kept and all maintenance issues reported/addressed. Ensures all equipment is in proper working order for the teams to properly care for patients.
  • Takes ownership of assigned location and seeks the proper help when an issue arises using the appropriate channels of communication.

Requirements:

Education, Skills & Certifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a medical setting within any medical facility.
  • CMA or RMA certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year management experience.

Work environment and Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, and walking associated with a normal physician office environment. Person may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, infectious diseases, blood/bodily fluids, and disease-bearing specimens. May need to lift up to 40 pounds.
