Job Description Cherry Picker Operator $18.50/hr 8:00am-4:30pm
Job Summary The Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for full-time, dedicated order picking using elevated warehouse equipment in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role focuses exclusively on machine-based picking and requires strong attention to accuracy, safety, and productivity. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker to retrieve products from elevated warehouse locations
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners
- Verify item numbers, quantities, and locations to ensure order accuracy
- Maintain consistent productivity and picking speed to meet daily goals
- Follow all safety procedures when operating equipment at height
- Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues
- Assist with inventory accuracy through proper scanning and handling
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience required
- Experience operating a cherry picker or similar equipment strongly preferred
- Comfortable working at heights for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Dependable and punctual with strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate equipment at elevated heights for extended periods
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand and remain on equipment throughout shift
