METFAB Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Quality Assurance Engineer Project Specific to join our team at our North Attleboro, MA facility. This role is critical in ensuring the successful execution of high-specification, technically complex projects by driving quality assurance activities from project initiation through final delivery.
The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all project-specific quality requirements, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality systems. This individual will serve as a key liaison between engineering, production, project management, and customers to proactively identify risks, implement quality controls, and ensure deliverables meet the highest standards of performance and reliability.
Job Description
- Quality Assurance Engineer supporting M. Braun Inc. NQA-1 / QAR projects in order to meet customer contracts & specifications.
- Front End Project Quality review of all customer supplied documentation for NQA-1 / QAR projects.
- Familiarity with National & International Standards & Specification: ASTM, ASME, ANSI, AGS, AWS, ISO, DIN.
- Compose & approve all Quality Assurance documentation for specific NQA-1 / QAR projects.
- When required perform NQA-1 audits / CGD Surveys on legacy M. Braun Inc. suppliers, & assist in qualifying new suppliers for our NQA-1 ASL.
- Plan & execute Supplier audits and CGD surveys. Travel to perform audits at vendor sites as needed
- Issue corrective action reports and facilitate completion and successful closure of all CGS Surveys & NQA-1 audits.
- Assist the Quality Manager with general Quality Assurance questions, issues and concerns.
- Assist in maintaining all ISO9001 and NQA-1 manuals, procedures, operating instructions, and forms.
- Assist the Quality Manager in updating our NQA-1 QMS, Procedures & Operating Instructions as needed to revise to a newer standard revision
Physical & Mental Requirements
- Physical Requirement: Must have fine motor skills; ability to do a repetitive motion; and the ability to sit for most of the day. Mobility requirement must be enough to move between the office and the production floor and complete vendor site audits
- Visual Requirement: Must be able to read documents and a computer screen.
- Hearing Requirement: Must be able to hear and speak on the telephone and in person to convey information.
- Mental Requirement: Comprehension, Organization, Reasoning, Decision Making, Communication, and Math.
