By joining Desert Orthopaedic Center's front desk staff you will play an important role to our patient's care. Our front desk receptionist are the first personnel patient's will see when they are checking in to the practice or have general questions. This position requires a calm friendly demeanor when providing patient care. You will be checking in/out patients, ensuring the patient's information is correct, and updating any information that is not. You may deal with rescheduling patients, explaining benefits, and dealing with any concerns they may have. This is an entry level position with on the job training and room for growth within the company. Great position to jump start your medical career!

As a float you are filling in at our 5 locations across the valley throughout the week, with a possibility of being placed at a permanent location. This is a full time position.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in medical front desk preferred
• Excellent computer skills - EMR knowledge a plus
• Experience with Nevada insurance verification and benefits
• Must enjoy working with patients in a fast paced environment
• Team player with excellent communication-verbal and written-skills
• Prior customer service experience
• Must be flexible and reliable in regards to schedule and location
• Must have a positive attitude
• Bilingual is a plus

Requirements:

• Sit for 4+ hours
• Work on computer 8 hours
• Communicate with patients, medical staff, and physicians
