Job DescriptionMassillon Mancan is assisting a local Navarre Company who is looking for Baler Operator. This will be a 1st shift position from 6:00 am-2:30 pm Monday through Friday. Must be able to lift 50lbs and push up to 100lbs. Pre employment drug screen is required. Pay for this will start at $17/hr + $1.55 attendance bonus.
Roles and Responsibilities
1.Bale all scrap in the shop and keep scrap off machines.
2.Evaluate machines for large scrap pieces and attend to their removal. Cut down usable scrap sheets for cover sheets at strapper and deliver to strapper.
3.Keep areas clean and free of scrap debris.
4.Move full bales to truck and load.
5.When truck is almost full (last 3 or 4 bales), contact/communicate with management to call Medina Paper for timely pickup of the full trailer.
6.Responsible for preventive maintenance on baler.
7.Responsible for periodic removal of scrap blown out of cyclone and collected on roof.
8.Responsible for daily housekeeping of dock area and baler area to include the removal of dust from lights and heater units.
9.Clean and rinse all residual glue from all used glue barrels.
10.Manage used glue barrels: storage, monitoring count, arranging for pickup at 50 barrels.
11.Record the number of bales produced and batches of water processed.
12.Pull design stock upon request.
13.Keep track of design stock inventory .
