Pay Rate: $30 - $35/hr
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care to pediatric patients in an outpatient healthcare setting. The successful candidate will support patients and their families, perform routine clinical procedures, monitor vital signs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to promote safe, high-quality, family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients, from infants through young adults.
- Obtain patient information, measure vital signs, and document findings accurately.
- Assist with cast removal and other minor outpatient procedures within the scope of practice.
- Monitor patients and report changes in their conditions to the appropriate healthcare professional.
- Support patients and families throughout appointments and treatments.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Perform routine clinical and administrative duties as assigned.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow established safety and infection-control procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current, valid LPN license.
- Current BLS certification, required within three months of employment according to the published listing.
- One year of pediatric experience in a medical facility preferred.
- Additional nursing certification preferred.
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients.
