Job Summary:
The Retail Stocker is responsible for receiving merchandise, unloading and/or unpacking it, marking it with codes to be identified, and stocking shelves.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Accept delivered packages and ensure proper amount is inside.
- Unload merchandise.
- Mark items with identifying codes, such as price, stock, or inventory control codes.
- Stock shelves with unpacked items.
- Replenish inventory as needed.
- Replace damaged or missing products.
- Compliance with Hacienda uniform policy
- Ongoing completion of training
- Work with salespeople on inventory and orders.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Capacity to take direction
- Capacity to be work well under minimal supervision
Education and Experience:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
