Job Summary:
The Spa Receptionist at Cannery Pier Hotel & Spa in Astoria, Oregon is responsible for providing excellent customer service to hotel guests and spa clients. This individual will be the first point of contact for guests and must have a positive, professional, and welcoming demeanor. This is a part-time, hourly position with the opportunity for growth within the company.

Compensation & Benefits:

This part-time position offers up to 25 hours per week with a competitive hourly wage, paid semimonthly. In addition to base pay, team members are eligible to earn commissions on retail sales. Employees also enjoy exclusive discounts on spa services and hotel room rates.

Responsibilities:

  • greet and welcome spa guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • answer phone calls and emails, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries.
  • maintain a neat and organized reception area.
  • stock and restock retail products in the spa, ensuring inventory levels are maintained.
  • assist with cleaning and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the spa, including treatment rooms, common areas, and
  • restrooms. handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
  • process payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
  • provide information about spa services, packages, and special promotions.
  • communicate effectively with spa staff to coordinate guest appointments.
  • maintain guest records and ensure confidentiality of information.
  • handle guest feedback and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
  • collaborate with the spa team to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a spa or hotel setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficient in using computer systems and booking software
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be passionate about providing exceptional customer service
