We're hiring a Product and Service Specialist to support our Product and Service Manager across the full lifecycle of a project — from job site review and material planning through drawings, ordering, and resolving service issues after installation. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role for someone who can own concrete deliverables, coordinate with vendors and internal partners, and keep projects moving accurately and on schedule. You'll start by taking work off the Manager's plate and grow into owning key areas outright.
What You'll Do
- Conduct job site reviews to confirm scope, site conditions, and measurements.
- Create accurate material lists for upcoming projects.
- Support project drawings by working with our virtual drafting assistant — reviewing 2D drawings for scope changes, confirming framing meets code, and verifying each drawing matches the contractual agreement.
- Coordinate with vendors on availability, pricing, and lead times.
- Handle a significant portion of material ordering.
- Manage service calls when a customer has an issue with an installed product — diagnosing, coordinating the fix, and following through to resolution.
- Assist with new product implementation and rollout.
- Follow and help uphold company policies and procedures, including Trex board bending, material list creation, and drawing confirmations.
How You'll Be Measured (KPIs)
- Service call completion
- Material list creation (accuracy and turnaround)
- Drawing completion

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and contractual scope; basic understanding of framing and building code a plus.
- Familiarity with decking and building materials (experience with Trex or similar composite products is a plus).
- Comfortable coordinating with vendors and negotiating lead times.
- Clear communicator, especially when resolving customer service issues.
- Reliable, self-directed, and able to work both independently and closely with the Product and Service Manager.
- Willingness to conduct job site visits as needed.
- Construction, estimating, or building-materials experience preferred; strong candidates who can learn quickly will be considered.
