Title: Accounts Payable Disbursement Specialist

Compensation Range: $28.00 - $32.00 / hour

Work Schedule: Hybrid (4 days on-site / 1 day remote)

Company Overview
This growing commercial services organization supports multiple business entities through a shared services structure. This is a newly created position and an addition to the Accounts Payable team.
Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Disbursement Specialist will support payment activities across multiple business units. This position is primarily responsible for organizing, staging, and tracking disbursements to help ensure payments are prepared accurately and on time. The role is administrative and does not primarily execute payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly disbursement activities across multiple business units.
- Organize and stage ACH, wire, and check payments.
- Track payment approvals, deadlines, and outstanding items.
- Review payment information and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain payment trackers and organized records.
- Coordinate with Accounts Payable, treasury, and internal teams to resolve missing information or payment issues.
- Assist with payment reporting and other Accounts Payable responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Accounts Payable or disbursement experience.
- Experience supporting high-volume payment activity.
- Experience working in a multi-entity, midsize, or large organization.
- Familiarity with ACH, wire, and check payment processes.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or another ERP solution, such as Oracle, SAP, or JD Edwards.
- Comfort working across multiple business applications.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting multiple business units or working in a shared services environment.
