The Microsoft 365 Administrator (M365 Admin) will lead the administration, management, and enhancement of the organization’s M365 cloud services environment. This role focuses on responsive and effective support for domestic and international personnel with a goal of increased adoption and security. The M365 Admin will work closely with the Director of IT to ensure the organization's M365 environment remains stable, secure, and efficient to support the organization’s global goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Every Home for Christ.
  • Adheres to the Biblical standards of moral conduct, Every Home for Christ vision statement, Every Home for Christ statement of faith, Every Home for Christ’s Employee standards and policies, Every Home for Christ’s Covenant of Harmony and upholds Every Home for Christ’s ministry in prayer.
  • Fosters a culture of support and strong relational connections throughout the organization
  • Provides monthly and quarterly GL reporting to CFO and Director of Finance
  • Ensures effective and consistent communication lines with CFO and Director of Finance with regard to all GL related entries

  • Collaborates with personnel in their success as well as supporting the organizational vision and goals.
  • Leads improvement of M365 systems/processes to enhance the ministry efficiency of EHC, suggesting ways to enhance operational productivity while improving security and user engagement.
  • Maintains, monitors, and improves our M365 environments to meet or exceed industry best practices, including license assessments and assignments, security score, enhancements, and features.
  • Serves as M365 subject matter expert for ticket escalation and collaboration with other system administrators and technology team personnel.
  • Provides support for technology staff and end-users for M365 services, such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Intune.
  • Creates, develops, and delivers M365 training to help maximize effective platform use.
  • Supplies audit support for our M365 environment and contributes to all resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts.

  • Shares in overall security operations, including training, management, system hardening, and validation.
  • Participates in cross training, mentoring, and educational growth opportunities.
  • Engages with tickets, issues, and documentation development.
  • Provides assistance in other areas as requested.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Regularly attends/participates in a local church
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience: 3-5 years of similar IT experience
  • Certifications/Licensing: Microsoft 365, Security+, Network+ are great to have, but not required
  • Experience in Microsoft 365, Windows, MacOS, MS Office, Windows Servers, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Group and Intune Policy, Active Directory, Entra, Endpoint Management
  • Believes strongly in the mission and strategy of Every Home for Christ
  • Possess strong passion for evangelism, discipleship, prayer
  • High level of respect and understanding of cultural values/functions in all Every Home for Christ International regions
  • Demonstrate humility, grace and compassion on a regular basis
  • Demonstrates high integrity, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Provides excellent customer service with patience, compassion, understanding, and humility
  • Strong team player with a focus on unity and camaraderie and a willingness to train and mentor colleagues
  • Exceptional verbal, non-verbal, and cross-cultural communication skills

  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quick learning in IT environments
  • Experience in managing Microsoft 365 cloud tenants
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, MacOS, MS Office
  • Knowledge of Windows Servers, Networking, PowerShell scripting, Microsoft Graph, and Microsoft Azure
  • Resourceful and skilled at researching solutions and solving problems
  • Ability to work independently, follow detailed directions, and complete projects
  • Maintains composure and performs well under pressure and in stressful situations

Pay is dependent on experience
