We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Project Administrator with outstanding organizational and communication skills to join our team. Our mission is to develop and field enabling antenna and RF system products which support the needs of the DoD and critical commercial customers. As a part of the Program Management Office, you will represent the interests of the company and work on a variety of R&D and Production contracts, helping keep the Project Teams informed and on track. You will also work on several larger projects as a critical support entity for the assigned Project Manager. This role stands at the intersection of engineering, business, and leadership, and brings many skills to bear to ensure technical excellence, financial responsibility, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- Construct and control project plans and budgets that help teams drive key decision points.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the projects and related contractual, technical, and quality documentation.
- Maintain the project calendar.
- Balance the demands of several simultaneous projects.
- Schedule project meetings and keep meeting minutes.
- Identify, track, manage, and resolve project issues.
- Ensure the project team is meeting stakeholder needs.
- Prepare the cost and schedule of proposals to win new programs for key pursuits.
- Facilitate program communication and information flow by maintaining the project files.
- Briefing upper management on project status.
- Coordinate with Contracts and Finance ensure compliance to federal acquisition regulations (FAR).
- Coordinate resource allocation across a portfolio of projects.
Requirements
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position at least 40 hours per week. Typical office hours include Monday-Friday, 8:am-5pm; however, these hours will vary based on workload and the manager’s discretion. This job may require more than 40 hours of work per week as the need arises.
Required Education and Experience
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills and a detail-oriented problem-solving approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creating and delivering presentations.
- A capacity to thrive in a self-motivated environment that has few boundaries and at-times conflicting priorities.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Ability to identify cost, and schedule risks/opportunities and to engage technical support appropriately.
- A desire to find, explore, and solve new and challenging problems.
Preferred Education and Experience
- A proven capacity to contribute to multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Experience in R&D and FAR proposal activities.
