The DNA Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager to support their Client. In this role, you will lead the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the agency’s offender management system. You will oversee updates, system improvements, change management, Agile practices, structured release processes, and coordination across technical teams, leadership, and stakeholders. This position requires strong project leadership skills, a solid technical background, and the ability to work effectively within a secure correctional environment.


You should be able to:

• Lead and manage the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Apply structured project management methodologies, tools, and templates to all system updates and enhancements.
• Support the Lead Solutions Architect and collaborate with DOC leadership, vendors, and technical teams.
• Identify project risks, interdependencies, and obstacles, developing mitigation and contingency plans.
• Manage integrations with external systems, internal partners, and third-party applications.
• Facilitate Agile practices including sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups, and backlog management.
• Establish and track KPIs, dashboards, and project performance metrics for senior leadership.
• Ensure adherence to testing, version control, and structured release management processes.
• Create technical and project documentation for reporting, compliance, and leadership communication.
• Perform on-site engagement within a correctional facility based on project needs.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience managing technical projects through the full SDLC lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of Agile or SCRUM methodologies and project management best practices.
• Experience engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be available for on-site work inside a secure correctional facility.

Working with Multiple Levels of Highly Technical Stakeholders: 6 years (Required)
Agile or SCRUM Methodologies with Facilitation Experience: 6 years (Required)
Progressive Consulting Leadership in Enterprise Environments: 6 years (Required)
Managing, Coordinating, and Prioritizing Full Project Lifecycle: 6 years (Required)

Professional Technology Experience w/ Degree: 10 Years(Required)

Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, Power BI, or Equivalent Tools: 6 years (Required)
• Successfully Implemented at Least One Complex Project in the Last Five Years: (Required)
Participated and Contributed to Two or More Project Implementations in the Past Six Years: (Required)
PMP Certification: (Highly Desired)
CSM Certification: (Highly Desired)
