Role Description:

This is a full-time, on-site leadership position for a high-level Principal R&D Engineer. You will serve as the technical lead for complex product development lifecycles, balancing hands-on mechanical design with high-level project management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Directing cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians to meet rigorous development milestones.
  • Innovation & Design: Utilizing advanced mechanical engineering principles to design, prototype, and test next-generation medical devices.
  • Strategic R&D: Leading research initiatives to solve complex clinical challenges in the minimally invasive space.
  • Stakeholder Management: Navigating the technical requirements of diverse medical disciplines to deliver market-ready solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in medical device R&D engineering with a proven track record of bringing successful devices to market.
  • Specialization: Deep expertise in catheter design and minimally invasive delivery systems is strictly required.
  • Technical Skills: * Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks and standard office productivity suites.
  • Expertise in mechanical design, materials science, and testing protocols.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines and mentor junior engineering staff.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, rigorous attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.
