Personal Injury Paralegal
Location: Ann Arbor, MI (On-site or Hybrid)
A growing law firm in Ann Arbor is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support a busy plaintiff-side practice. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to challenge insurance companies, analyze medical records, and communicate confidently with clients.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in all phases of personal injury cases from intake through resolution
- Review, analyze, and summarize medical records, bills, and reports
- Understand medical terminology and identify key issues impacting case value
- Assist with demand packages, discovery, pleadings, and insurance correspondence
- Conduct independent legal and factual research
- Communicate directly with clients and provide case updates
- Draft clear, persuasive written materials and correspondence
- Manage case files, deadlines, and documentation
Qualifications
- 2+ years of personal injury paralegal experience
- Strong experience dealing with insurance companies and claims
- Ability to independently assess medical records and reports
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases
