Position Summary\n

Teach From DeHart Academy is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Development Contractor to help grow our network of corporate partners, community supporters, and philanthropic investors throughout Pennsylvania.

This is a results-oriented contract position focused on identifying prospective partners, cultivating meaningful relationships, and securing corporate sponsorships and Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) investments. The Development Contractor will represent TFDA professionally while educating businesses about opportunities to support educational initiatives that positively impact students and communities.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Build and cultivate relationships with Pennsylvania businesses, foundations, and community organizations.
  • \n

  • Identify and research prospective corporate partners and philanthropic supporters.
  • \n

  • Connect with business owners and organizational decision-makers to introduce Teach From DeHart Academy's mission and partnership opportunities.
  • \n

  • Present corporate sponsorship opportunities and Pennsylvania's Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective partners while strengthening relationships with existing supporters.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, meetings, and partnership activity.
  • \n

  • Represent Teach From DeHart Academy professionally at networking events, business meetings, and community engagements.
  • \n

Minimum Weekly Expectations

\n

  • Establish five (5) new business connections each week.
  • \n

  • Build and maintain an active pipeline of prospective corporate and community partners.
  • \n

  • Consistently follow up with prospective partners throughout the relationship-building process.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate documentation of outreach activities, meetings, and partnership progress.
  • \n

Contractors will participate in:

  • Weekly or bi-weekly meetings with TFDA Development Managers
  • \n

  • Pipeline and progress reviews
  • \n

  • Individual coaching and strategy sessions designed to maximize fundraising and partnership success
  • \n

Qualifications\n

Required:

\n

    \n
  • One to two (1–2) years of experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, business development, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, customer relationship management, or a related field.
  • \n

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • \n

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities.
  • \n

  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and follow-through.
  • \n

  • Professional demeanor and confidence when representing the organization.
  • \n

  • Reliable transportation for in-person meetings and networking opportunities.
  • \n

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • \n

  • Recent graduates with relevant internship or professional experience are encouraged to apply.
