Workers' Compensation Legal Secretary
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Pay Rate: Up to $30 per hour
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire, Onsite
LHH is working with a law firm seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Legal Secretary to join the firm’s team in Woodland Hills, CA. As a Legal Secretary, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team in handling workers' compensation matters. This position requires excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Answer multiple phone calls and assist clients

Prepare client intake information
-
Heavy dictation
-
Preparation and filing of court documents
-
Review and respond to emails
-
File documents using EAMS (Electronic Adjudication Management System)

Schedule various appointments including client interviews, doctor exams, and depositions

Interact with adjusters

Open new files and enter all documentation into the case management system

Qualifications:
-
Minimum of 3 years of prior experience as a workers' compensation legal secretary (plaintiff or defense)

Strong knowledge of workers' compensation procedures

Experience with EAMS and court filings
-
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently -
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation

Effective written and verbal communication skills
Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
