Aces & Eights Casino is seeking a Table Game Shift Manager as a leader to ensure a high level of operations integrity, precision, and professional hospitality. This role ensures strict adherence to New Hampshire gaming regulations, safeguards the integrity of our operations, and maintains dedicated accuracy in all financial documentation and regulatory reporting at all times.
As Shift Manager, your role involves confident opening or closing of the gaming day accounting, accuracy regarding fills and credits, drop procedures, and required regulatory reports with dedicated accuracy. You will serve as the operational leader on shift. supporting dealers towards operational integrity and ensuring the table games department delivers a high-standard hospitality experience that keeps guests engaged, entertained, and returning.

Expected Work Hours and Schedule:
Work hours will vary, encompassing morning, afternoon, and evening shifts across five working days per week. The expected working hours range from 40 to 45 hours per week, including availability from Monday to Sunday.
Essential Job Functions:
- Uphold the organization’s code of conduct and professional standards.
- Oversee the Casino Gaming Pit, providing leadership and direction while ensuring full compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations.
- Coaching and training to promote teamwork and morale.
- Outstanding Team Member and guest relations.
- Have full knowledge of internal controls, state expectations, as well as policies and procedures
- Identify operational improvements and communicate recommendations to leadership
- Manage opening, operating, and closing procedures; implement approved changes and safeguard company assets.
- Support promotional and marketing initiatives, including player card enrollment and accurate promotional signage as well as regular shift updates communicated to front line staff daily.
- Assist in labor planning to ensure efficient use of staffing resources.
- Work in conjunction with security and surveillance to detect any gaming floor, Team Member, or guest irregularities.
- Issue clear written and verbal instructions and ensure consistent enforcement of organizational policies.
- Enforce performance or behavioral standards using progressive discipline.
- Ensures all team members receive equitable, honest, and fair treatment
- Maintain positive relationships with guests, team members, and vendors, addressing concerns and resolving grievances professionally.
- Perform related duties assigned by the General Manager or Senior Table Games Manager.
- Maintain departmental shift logs and tracking, communicating and noting unusual occurrences, incidents, safety concerns, equipment failure, and any additional gaming operation concerns.
- Ability to deal and knowledge of all games offered and actively mentor dealers in game procedures, policies, and rules.
- Willingness to learn, teach and mentor Dealers in all table game procedures, policies and rules.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Commitment to delivering consistently high levels of guest service.
- Ability to support revenue growth while effectively managing labor and operational costs
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements and compliance standards relevant to table games.
- Strong leadership abilities with a guest-focused approach
- Able to work effectively with colleagues, team members, and regulatory partners to support smooth operations
- Strong computer proficiency required, including effective use of Microsoft Office applications. Also, must be comfortable navigating digital tools, completing electronic documentation, and learning new software.
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills required for navigating and documenting events regularly.
- Consistently capable of achieving strong results in routine, fast paced-paced, or dynamic situations
- Capable of overseeing opening or closing procedures, ensuring all operational, security, and compliance steps are completed with limited supervision or independently as situations dictate.
- Able to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; carefully monitor processes; concentrate on routine work details and organize and maintain a system of records.
- Willingness to stay current with industry trends and evolving operational best practices.
- Able to stay adaptable—shifting focus as needed, managing transitions smoothly, and responding effectively to changing guest or operational demands.
- Demonstrates tact, professionalism, and integrity while fostering an ethical work environment and addressing inappropriate behavior when necessary.
- Adheres to established guidelines and procedures, including during crisis situations, and effectively communicates and upholds organizational policies.
