Responsibilities:

Supervise and delegate tasks to other LVNs and nursing assistants to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Develop and implement patient care plans, in collaboration with the healthcare team

Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations of patient conditions, and report any significant changes to the Registered Nurse on duty

Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation of patient care, including medication administration and treatment plans

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement policies and procedures that promote high-quality patient care

Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed
Requirements:

Current LVN license in the state of Texas

Strong clinical skills and ability to prioritize patient care

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
