Growing law firm is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team in Redwood Shores, California. This Legal Administrative Assistant opportunity offering the ability to grow within a dynamic and organized environment. The ideal candidate will bring excellent organizational skills and a proactive approach to supporting legal and administrative tasks, focusing on managing front desk operations and providing support to paralegals and attorneys. You must be able to work on-site Monday - Friday from 9am-5pm to be considered.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and coordinate calendars, including scheduling appointments and maintaining deadlines.
• Handle email correspondence efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
• Format and prepare legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain and organize docket calendars, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Provide support for intellectual property matters, such as filings and documentation.
• Answer and direct inbound calls professionally, addressing inquiries as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Outlook to create, edit, and manage documents and communications.
• Assist in general office tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and administrative needs.
Qualifications:
• At least 1 year of experience in an office or detail-oriented environment, preferably in a legal setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Experience with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
• Familiarity with intellectual property processes and docket management is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and work independently.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
