Job Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will help our customers across North America keep their production operations running smoothly. You will troubleshoot and perform maintenance on our packaging machinery, as well as train end users on proper operation and best practices. While you will often work independently in the field, you’ll have the full support of our technical team whenever needed.
About You:
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Solutions-oriented with clear, professional communication skills
• Flexible and willing to travel extensively
• Comfortable adapting to varying work schedules and travel requirements
Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience as a field service technician working with automated machinery
• Professional demeanor, communication skills, and presentation
• Strong organizational and planning abilities; effective verbal and written communication
• Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities with solid knowledge of industrial machinery
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI interfaces, multi-axis robotics, motion control systems, and vision systems
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice (day trips, overnights, and multi-week trips)
• Preferred: Experience with automation in the food industry
• Preferred: Experience with plastics, bags, or packaging equipment
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to take initiative
