We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Worker to provide exceptional care for children aged 0 to 5. This role requires the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment while supporting children’s growth and development. Morning shifts start as early as 6am, with afternoon shifts ending as late as 6:30pm. The ideal candidate must be at least 20 years old and have a genuine passion for working with young children in a small team setting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times, caring for groups of 2-7 children
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities promoting physical, emotional, and social development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging environment conducive to learning and play
• Communicate effectively with parents as needed regarding their child’s progress and any concerns
• Foster positive relationships through active engagement and encouragement
• Assist with daily routines such as meals, naps, and personal hygiene
• Collaborate with childcare staff within a small team to create a cohesive program

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in childcare settings
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong skills in child supervision and behavior management
• Excellent communication abilities
• Patience, empathy, and flexibility in adapting to children's needs
