The Maintenance Technician III is a senior-level, hands-on role responsible for advanced troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. This position requires extensive electrical expertise, the ability to work independently, and leadership in supporting equipment reliability and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose and repair electrical systems including motors, drives, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
· Perform maintenance on PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens preferred).
· Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
· Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
· Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
· Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
Required:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with strong electrical focus.
· Advanced knowledge of 480V 3-phase systems and control circuits.
· Strong troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems.
· Ability to read and interpret schematics.
