Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot, teardown, repair, reassemble, test and perform maintenance on Spider standard equipment and accessories with direction and oversight. Perform complete safety inspectiosn in accordance with the Rental Fleet Inspection Manual.
- Follow company procedures to ensure that all work-related records are accurate, updated in a timely manner, and conform to company standards.
- Perform rigging and de-rigging services in accordance with SIA safety guidelines.
- Assist with safety demonstrations to customers including safe rigging procedures, correct operating methods, required safety checks and emergency procedures.
- Perform casual shop labor as needed to maintain an orderly, safe, efficient work environment.
- Package parts and materials for shipping.
- Assist with maintaining accurate inventory.
- Accurately record parts used and transferred.
- Perform other duties as directed by superiors.

Qualifications:

- Basic oral communication skills are required.
- High School Diploma, General Education Degree (GED), or equivalent.
- Prior construction or service related experience.
- Ability to work in elevated construction areas.
- Safety conscious
- Positive attitude, self motivated
- Must have a valid driver's license
- The ability to do basic math is desired.
- Warehouse experience using power tools, pry-bar and banding OR previous experience in the construction industry is preferred.

\nPhysical Demands:

- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk and/or hear, and/or use hands and fingers to handle or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to stand, and/or walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move and/or pull up to 50 pounds (up to 100 pounds with assistance) of equipment, which may include lifting 50 pounds (up to 100 pounds with assistance) above shoulders (6-7 feet) to load onto trucks or racks.
- Must also be capable of climbing onto trailers or trucks and onto racks to secure and move equipment as well as climbing ladders to precarious places.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Might be required to work in elevated workplace (up to 100 stories above the ground).
- Dirt, dust, loud noises, fumes, odors, chemicals, and poor visibility are often encountered.
- May be required to operate in extreme heat, extreme cold, or high humidity.

BrandSafway offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance along with a generous 401k plan. The salary range for this position is $32-$36 hourly. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
