Job Description
Job Description
GYN Physician (MD/DO) – Menopause & Women’s Health
Midtown Manhattan | 1 Day/Week | $175–$215/hour | No Call • No Weekends • No Deliveries
An established, growing private gynecology practice in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an experienced GYN Physician (MD/DO) to join our team one full day per week (9am-7pm)
This is an opportunity for a physician who loves women’s health but wants to practice differently: outpatient gynecology with a growing focus on perimenopause, menopause and midlife women’s health—without the lifestyle demands of obstetrics.
Why This Position Stands Out
No deliveries. No hospital rounds. No overnight call. No weekends.
Your day is focused entirely on outpatient women’s health, with an established patient population, experienced support staff and on-site diagnostic capabilities.
Our practice is expanding its focus on comprehensive menopause and midlife care, including:
- Perimenopause & menopause consultations
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Management of vasomotor, genitourinary and sexual health concerns
- Abnormal uterine/postmenopausal bleeding
- Preventive and long-term women’s health
- Bone, metabolic and cardiovascular considerations during menopause
- Individualized, evidence-based hormone and non-hormonal treatment
Clinical & Procedural Care
The physician should also be comfortable with general gynecology and office-based procedures, including:
- Colposcopy and cervical biopsies
- Pelvic/transvaginal ultrasound
- Evaluation of abnormal uterine bleeding
- Endometrial evaluation/biopsy
- Contraceptive management
- IUD procedures
- Cervical dysplasia management
- Routine and problem-focused gynecologic care
Hands-on pelvic ultrasound experience is highly preferred.
Who We're Looking For
- MD or DO with active New York State medical license
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Strong outpatient GYN experience
- Comfortable independently performing colposcopy and office procedures
- Pelvic ultrasound skills strongly preferred
- Genuine interest and experience in perimenopause and menopause medicine
- Excellent bedside manner and patient communication
We are particularly interested in a physician who wants to develop a long-term presence in an expanding menopause-focused private practice, rather than simply picking up occasional per-diem shifts.
Schedule & Compensation
1 consistent full weekday per week
$175–$215/hour, based on experience and procedural/ultrasound skills.
Potential opportunity to expand clinical days as the menopause and women’s health program grows.
No OB call • No deliveries • No nights • No weekends • No hospital rounds
If you are an experienced OB/GYN who wants to continue practicing high-quality women’s health while leaving the traditional OB lifestyle behind, we would love to hear from you.
To apply: Submit your CV along with a brief description of your experience with menopause/HRT care, colposcopy, office GYN procedures and pelvic ultrasound.
