The Certified Medical Assistant plays a critical role in healthcare settings by supporting physicians and other medical staff with clinical and administrative tasks. This position involves direct patient care, facilitating efficient office operations, and maintaining high standards of patient confidentiality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures
- Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical instruments
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Administer medications and injections as directed by medical staff
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations
- Educate patients about treatment plans and follow-up care
- Coordinate laboratory tests and communicate results to healthcare providers.
