Summary/Scope of Work  

Provide simulation and training support to the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Mission Training Complex and other distributed training and exercise locations as directed. Supports the Network Engineer Lead with all technical documentation to include: network and system/service diagrams, net flow/dataflow diagrams, ports/protocols and services (PPS) listing, STIG and SRG compliance benchmarks/checklists, and network device configurations. Responsible for network cabling, cable management, and network connectivity troubleshooting. This offer is available contingent upon contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities:  

  • Modify or create 3D models for constructive and gaming simulation requirements
  • Prepare 3D models to support an exercise/event IAW the established Government delivery schedule and design requirements
  • Provide database creation, maintenance and archiving for current and future GFT and SVCT models
  • Perform game-based software application object manipulation which supports training audience scenario generation
  • Test and evaluate new models, terrain data, scripts and additional components of stand-alone, client, administrative and host/server

Minimum Requirements:  

  • US Citizenship  
  • Prior military experience  
  • Have 1+ years of experience with Military training and training support
  • MS office background, specific experience with MS Excel (i.e., pivot tables)
  • Experience in technical writing
  • Familiarity with simulations and modeling, game development
  • Knowledge of VBS3
  • Possess a Secret clearance

Required Education  

  • Associate's degree in information technology, computer science, physics, or related discipline.
