Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Omaha is looking for our next great leader!


We are looking for a Salon Manager to join our team at 180th and Q street! Our ideal candidate is an energetic person that is skilled with children's haircuts, has a passion for customer service & a strong commitment to developing and leading a team.


Sharkey's Cuts for Kids brings fun, excitement and expertise to kid's haircuts. Our friendly and experienced staff provides professional services in a fun and exciting environment. We believe everyone should have an enjoyable experience where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!"


JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Brand Ambassador for Sharkey's inside and outside the salon.
  • Oversee day to day salon operations and administration for the business.
  • Support ongoing hiring and training of licensed stylists, as needed.
  • Organizing employee shift schedule, considering peak times and seasonality.
  • Support the staff to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting haircut experience for each of our clients.
  • Ensure all services meet high-quality standards and the highest levels of customer service are maintained at all times.
  • Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner.
  • Oversee and maintain cleanliness and sanitization of salon.
  • Operate and train on the Point-of-Sale software system.

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Minimum three years salon or customer service management experience.
  • Able to work weekends.
  • Cosmetology license and experience with children's haircutting
  • Demonstrates accountability, dependability and sound judgement.
  • Enjoys working with kids and parents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour plus lucrative tips and manager bonus opportunity!!

Experience:

  • Salon customer service experience: 3 years (Required)
  • Supervising Experience: 2 years (Preferred)
