Job Title: Security, Surveillance, and Access Control Installation & Service Technician
Experience: Minimum 3 years in security, surveillance, and access control
Starting Pay: $25-$35/hour (DOE) + Bonus Potential

Job Summary:
We are seeking a experienced and dedicated Security, Surveillance, and Access Control Installation & Service Technician to install, maintain, and service security systems, cameras, and access control devices. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to ensuring our clients’ safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and troubleshoot security, surveillance, and access control systems at client sites
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance
- Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions for proper setup
- Conduct on-site assessments and recommend security enhancements
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, installations, and maintenance activities
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies during all activities
- Stay current with industry advancements and new security technologies
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in security system installation, maintenance, and repair
- Knowledge of CCTV, video surveillance, access control, alarm systems, and related technologies
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various locations
- US citizen fluent in English
- Relevant certifications (Hanwha, DMP, Speco, S2, Galaxy) are a plus
- Skilled in pulling, terminating, and testing low-voltage cables in compliance with code
- Experience installing door hardware such as strikes, magnetic locks, and push/panic devices
Work Environment:
- Fieldwork involves travel to customer sites, including occasional out-of-town jobs requiring overnight stays
- Physical activity required: lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders, working in confined spaces
- On-call availability may be necessary based on company needs
