Business Systems Implementation Manager
Job Description
Mamiye Brothers is seeking a highly capable, tech-savvy Business Systems Implementation Manager to lead the rollout, adoption, and continuous improvement of business technologies across the company.
This person will serve as the bridge between business users, technical teams, and external vendors – helping translate operational needs into practical system solutions, guiding implementations, supporting testing and configuration, training end users, troubleshooting issues, and driving adoption across departments.
This is not a narrowly specialized role focused on a single platform. We are looking for someone who can move fluidly from project to project – whether related to PLM, ERP, BI/reporting tools, AI applications, workflow systems, or other business technologies – and quickly learn what is needed to make each initiative successful.
What You’ll Do
Lead business systems implementations
- Own implementation projects from discovery through rollout and adoption.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to keep projects aligned, on schedule, and focused on business value.
- Help define requirements, map workflows, identify gaps, and support practical solution design.
Serve as the bridge between business and technology
- Translate business needs into clear system, workflow, and process requirements.
- Work closely with technical teams, administrators, consultants, and vendors to support successful implementation and enhancement efforts.
- Act as a trusted cross-functional partner across product development, sourcing, production, sales, operations, finance, and other business teams.
Drive user adoption and enablement
- Develop training materials, documentation, and repeatable support resources.
- Train and support end users to ensure new systems and processes are understood, adopted, and used effectively.
- Gather user feedback and continuously improve workflows, usability, and adoption over time.
Support system optimization and process improvement
- Identify inefficiencies, pain points, and opportunities for improvement across systems and workflows.
- Recommend and implement enhancements that improve productivity, visibility, data quality, and decision-making.
- Help establish best practices, process discipline, and scalable ways of working across teams.
Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing support
- Coordinate or execute user acceptance testing and validate that system changes meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot issues raised by users and coordinate resolution with the right internal or external partners.
- Support ongoing system needs including permissions, support processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Operate across multiple systems and projects
- Work across a range of platforms, which may include PLM, ERP, BI/reporting tools, AI-enabled tools, and other operational technologies.
- Quickly ramp up on new technologies and business processes as priorities evolve.
- Manage multiple active initiatives simultaneously while maintaining strong follow-through and communication.
What Success Looks Like
- New systems are implemented smoothly and adopted successfully.
- Business teams feel supported, trained, and confident using the tools available to them.
- Technical teams and vendors have a clear, capable partner on the business side.
- Processes become more efficient, scalable, and reliable.
- Data quality, workflow visibility, and cross-functional alignment improve over time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience in business systems, business analysis, systems implementation, operational technology, or a related role.
- Experience working cross-functionally on software or systems implementations.
- Strong ability to gather requirements, map processes, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
- Demonstrated success training users, supporting adoption, and improving workflows.
- Experience working with business platforms such as PLM, ERP, BI/reporting, workflow, or related enterprise systems.
- Apparel, fashion, consumer products, or supply chain experience is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Centric PLM, Exenta ERP, Qlik Sense, or similar systems is a plus.
- Experience working with emerging tools, including AI-enabled business applications, is a plus.
Who You Are
- Exceptionally tech-savvy and naturally intuitive with systems and software.
- A quick learner who can get up to speed rapidly in unfamiliar tools or business processes.
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and moving between different kinds of projects.
- A strong communicator who can work effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Highly organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities without losing momentum.
- Hands-on, practical, and solutions-oriented.
- Equally comfortable thinking strategically and helping execute the details.
