Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position at a STEMI center, requiring ACLS certification and a MO or compact RN license.
Details\n
- \n
- Work in the Cath Lab of a STEMI center
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and EP lab settings
- Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 9:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- On-call responsibilities 1-2 times per week
- Weekend coverage required approximately one weekend per month
- Blocked scheduling will be considered
- Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements\n
- \n
- Active RN license (MO or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, NIHSS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
- Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, PCI, cardiac stent placement, ASD closures, and cardiac implant closure devices
- Experience with left and right heart catheterization
- IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, rotablator atherectomy, and pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring experience preferred
- Ability to scrub for procedures is highly preferred
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
