Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is partnering with a premier metals supplier in Middlebury, Indiana to hire dependable and hardworking individuals for a General Labor / Skid Builder position on 3rd Shift. Shift Details
- 3rd Shift: Monday-Friday, 9:00 PM - 5:30 AM
- Overtime opportunities available
- Occasional Saturdays as needed
- Pay: $20.00/hour
What You'll Do
As a General Labor / Skid Builder, you'll help prepare metal products for shipment and support warehouse operations by:
- Building wooden skids, pallets, and crates using hand and power tools
- Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials to meet specifications
- Packaging and securing products for safe transport
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials throughout the facility
- Assisting with general warehouse and production duties as needed
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Cross-training in multiple departments to expand your skills and opportunities
What We're Looking For
- Experience using hand tools, tape measures, nail guns, saws, or similar equipment preferred
- Manufacturing, warehouse, construction, or general labor experience is a plus
- Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Forklift experience is beneficial but not required
