Compensation:

$25 - $35 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and services on construction equipment to prevent downtime.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed for future reference and compliance.
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and address them proactively.
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the operations team to schedule maintenance without disrupting workflow.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and systems.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems in diesel vehicles.
  • The ability to solder and perform tire service is a plus.
  • Knowledge of tractor-trailer systems is beneficial.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • You must live in the US.
