Job Description:

This role will provide engineering support in the migration of legacy Avaya/Nortel systems to Microsoft Teams and EVoIP solutions for a large Federal Enterprise project. This role requires extensive travel (~45 weeks / year) to various locations within the US.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship is required
  • Must possess an active TS clearance at the time of application, be willing and able to obtain SCI access, and pass a CI polygraph.
  • Must reside in Washington DC area with willingness to travel extensively within the United States.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Associate's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related IT Management or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Computer Science or Information Systems or related
  • Experience in deploying Microsoft Teams and EVoIP solutions

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical direction and analysis for telecommunication activities, including planning, designing, configuring, integrating, installing, and maintaining large-scale voice, video, and data telecommunications/ communications networks and services with computer systems.
  • Applies telecommunications/communications engineering principles and theory to propose design and configuration alternatives.
  • Analyzes network performance, usage and traffic flows, accesses and interfaces, transmission techniques, and protocols to interface with computer systems.
  • Responsible for complex engineering and/or analytical tasks and activities associated with one or more technical areas within the telecom function such as, but not limited to, network design, engineering, implementation, or operations/user support.
  • Must have experience with multiple audio technologies and applications.
  • Troubleshooting proficiency and demonstrated experience with customer interaction are required.
