Job Summary: As our Engineering Manager you will lead and guide our engineering department, driving innovation and technical excellence in the design and manufacturing of electronic components. You will be responsible for the strategic management of engineering resources, new product development (NPI), and the optimization of existing manufacturing processes to ensure the highest quality, efficiency, and compliance with company objectives.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5-10 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or management role
- Demonstrated experience in managing engineering projects from concept to production
- Strong understanding of electronic component manufacturing processes, design for manufacturability (DFM), and lean manufacturing principles
- Excellent strategic leadership, mentoring, communication, and budget management skills
- Mastery of computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Bilingualism (English and Spanish), both oral and written, is required
- Certification in IPC/WHMA-A-620 and J-Std-001 will be valued

- You will be responsible for leading, managing, and mentoring the engineering and design team. You will direct the development and introduction of new products (NPI), ensuring smooth transitions from design to full-scale production. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and improve product quality and reliability. You will be responsible for managing the department's budget, allocating resources, and developing your team members to build a world-class engineering function.
