Job Description

Join our friendly, patient-focused team!
Are you a "people person" with a positive attitude looking to start a career in the healthcare field? We are looking for a reliable and outgoing Dental Assistant to be the face of our dental practice.
At our office, we believe that technical skills can be taught, but a great personality and a heart for service cannot. If you enjoy making people feel welcome and thrive in a collaborative team environment, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
As the first person our patients see and hear, you play a vital role in their experience. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Creating a Warm Welcome: Greeting patients with a smile and ensuring they feel comfortable from the moment they walk in.
  • Effective Communication: Answering any questions the patient may have and helping them feel comfortable.
  • Patient Advocacy: Helping patients during treatment.
  • Team Collaboration: Working closely with our front office staff and doctors to provide seamless care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Exceptional Interpersonal Skills: You genuinely enjoy talking to people and can remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • A "Team First" Mentality: You believe in supporting your coworkers and contributing to a positive office culture.
  • Eagerness to Learn: You are tech-savvy enough to learn our office software and are excited to grow your knowledge of the dental industry.
  • Reliability: You understand that our patients and team depend on you to be present and prepared.

Requirements & Experience

  • Dental Assisting Experience required and must have X-Ray License. We are happy to provide comprehensive training for the right candidate!
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive hourly pay.
  • Consistent daytime hours (no late nights or weekends).
  • A supportive, low-stress environment where you are treated like family.
  • Opportunities for professional growth within the practice.

How to Apply: Please submit your resume and a brief note telling us why you’re interested in joining a dental team. We look forward to meeting you!

Company DescriptionWe are an endodontic (root canal) specialty office. All of our doctors are specialists - each completing two additional years of specialized training beyond their dental degrees. All of our equipment is state-of-the-art, reflecting the most current in endodontic technology. Surgical microscopes in each treatment room help facilitate the most precise results possible. Our goal is to provide you with the best, most accurate, and thorough diagnosis possible. Fortunately, recent technological breakthroughs have allowed us to make major advances in our ability to achieve that goal. The Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) (“dental cone beam” or “cone beam”) is a new technology similar to CAT scans in that it will give us a 360 degree 3 dimensional view of the area we are examining. Our digital x-rays minimize radiation exposure and allow instant consultation and reporting with your general dentist and other specialists.

In keeping with the current direction of health care record keeping, all of our records are electronic, assuring that our doctors have access to patient records should they have any problems when the office is not open. Physical and electronic security measures assure the privacy of all personal data.

While having the latest technology is great, we are most proud of our wonderful, compassionate staff.

Having multiple doctors in the practice assures you of the most experience. Our practice has been serving the Westlake Village and Thousand Oaks area for over 40 years.
