Exciting opportunities await Speech-Language Pathologists looking to make a positive impact in school communities near Tacoma, WA! Multiple full-time positions are available for the 2026/2027 school year, with the flexibility to tailor your caseload preferences and locations. You’ll play an essential role supporting student communication and language development, working with caseloads of approximately 50 students across 1-2 school sites. This contract role offers a balanced 37.5-hour workweek and a chance to collaborate with dedicated educational professionals.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Washington SLP license and ESA certification
Open to SLP-CCC and SLP-CFY candidates
Experience or interest in school-based practice
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt to diverse caseloads and changing educational needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and deliver therapy services for students with speech, language, and communication needs
Develop, implement, and review IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements
Communicate progress and treatment plans with teachers, families, and support staff
Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student growth and inclusion
Travel between assigned school sites as needed
