JJ Diesel Dogs is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Service Writer to join our team. This role is the front line of our business—responsible for creating a positive customer experience while keeping daily operations organized and running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries
- Make outbound calls to provide updates, approvals, and follow-ups
- Create accurate service estimates for customers
- Order parts for the technicians
- Check customers in and out efficiently
- Collect and process payments
- Maintain clear communication between customers and technicians
- Organize and manage paperwork and service records
- Perform end-of-month paperwork organization and filing
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy with estimates and paperwork
- Previous service writer, automotive, or diesel shop experience preferred (but not required)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
