Established (40+ Years) Premier Firm Seeking Healthcare Litigation Attorney for Healthcare Litigation in St. Petersburg or Tampa, FloridaAn established firm based in St. Petersburg or Tampa, Florida with over 40+ years in practice is seeking a Healthcare Litigation Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join their team onsite. This role focuses on healthcare litigation, including defense of healthcare providers, healthcare fraud allegations, kickback violations, and patient brokering matters, with representation involving major insurance carriers and the federal government including the Department of Justice.

Salary range: $150,000-$185,000+, contingent on experience

Qualifications
At least three years of healthcare litigation experience
Florida Bar admission in good standing
Background defending healthcare providers such as chiropractors, physicians, or medical practices
Experience handling matters involving healthcare fraud, kickback statutes, or patient brokering allegations
Familiarity litigating against major insurance carriers or responding to government investigations
Strong legal writing, motion practice, and courtroom advocacy skills
Responsibilities
Defend healthcare providers in complex healthcare litigation matters
Handle cases involving allegations of healthcare fraud, kickbacks, and patient brokering
Represent clients in disputes involving major insurance companies and government entities
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses in state and federal courts
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation
Collaborate with senior attorneys on litigation strategy and case management - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
