- Authorize and sequence work order release into fabrication.
- Balance shop loading across vessel bays, module lines, hydrotest, PWHT, and paint.
- Track fabrication milestones from fit-up and welding through testing, paint, and shipment.
- Monitor planned vs. actual progress and maintain accurate weekly delivery forecasts.
- Identify schedule risks and implement recovery plans to protect committed ship dates.
- Manage work-in-progress (WIP) to ensure smooth shop flow and prevent bottlenecks.
- Partner with Operations to address capacity constraints and optimize throughput.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Sales, and Project Management to ensure alignment on delivery commitments.
Qualifications
- Experience in fabrication scheduling within O&G, pressure vessel, or modular manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of shop flow, capacity planning, milestone tracking, and WIP control.
- Ability to analyze production data and drive schedule recovery when needed.
- Strong organizational and cross-functional communication skills.
