Magnetic Particle Inspector – Level II
Full‐time | Onsite | San Fernando CA area A growing nondestructive testing facility is seeking a Magnetic Particle Inspector – Level II to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and high‐quality inspection work. 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) using wet fluorescent, dry powder, yoke, and bench methods</li>
<li>Set up, calibrate, and verify MPI equipment</li>
<li>Interpret indications and evaluate parts against acceptance criteria</li>
<li>Document inspection results clearly and accurately</li>
<li>Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure timely processing</li>
<li>Maintain compliance with customer specifications and industry standards</li>
<li>Support Level I personnel and uphold safety and procedural requirements </li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Current MPI Level II certification (ASNT SNT‐TC‐1A, NAS‐410, or equivalent)</li>
<li>Hands‐on experience performing MPI in aerospace, machining, or metal finishing environments</li>
<li>Strong understanding of ferromagnetic materials and discontinuity types</li>
<li>Ability to read and follow technical procedures and customer requirements</li>
<li>High attention to detail and commitment to quality</li>
