Equipment & Driver Support

Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles
- Transport freight in accordance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
- Deliver freight on schedule while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Prioritize safety, compliance, and customer service at all times
Qualifications Required
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience
- Current DOT Medical Card and proof of good health
- Functional cell phone for communication purposes
- Professional, clean, and neat appearance
- Ability to safely operate a semi-tractor and intermodal containers
Preferred
- Experience hauling intermodal containers
- Familiarity with Chicago and Midwest routes
Driving Record Requirements
Applicants must meet the following standards:
- No major moving violations within the past three years
- No speeding violations exceeding 15 MPH over the posted limit within the past three years
- No reckless driving, careless driving, following too closely, or erratic lane change violations within the past three years
- No more than two preventable accidents or incidents within the past three years
- No multiple license suspensions within the past three years
Applicants with certain violations may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to management review.
Candidates must also meet all applicable FMCSA qualification requirements under 49 CFR §391.11.
