Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available supporting educational needs through teletherapy services in Blackstone, VA. This contract position spans from August 19, 2026, through June 4, 2027, with full-time hours totaling 37.5 per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services virtually to students.
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapy tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Maintain detailed records and progress notes in compliance with regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Demonstrated experience with teletherapy platforms and virtual service delivery.
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and disorders in school-age children.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage students remotely.
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently and document services thoroughly.
