Quickbox is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Helpdesk Technician to join our dedicated support team. As the first point of contact for technical issues, you’ll provide exceptional support, ensuring the timely resolution of user concerns while contributing to a seamless IT experience across the organization.

Requirements:Essential Duties & Job Functions:

  1. Serve as the first line of technical support via phone, email, and chat, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
  2. Diagnose and troubleshoot desktop applications, network connectivity, and hardware functionality.
  3. Document support interactions and resolutions in the ticketing system, maintaining clear records.
  4. Assist with user onboarding, including account setup, equipment provisioning, and system training.
  5. Collaborate with IT team members to escalate complex issues and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
  6. Monitor and maintain IT asset inventory to ensure all hardware and software resources are up to date.

Job Qualifications Mandatory:

  1. At least 1 year of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role, with a strong understanding of common IT issues.
  2. Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Android operating systems, as well as essential software like Microsoft Office, Chrome, and Edge.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot independently.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems. (e.g., TeamViewer, Jitbit)
  2. IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus.
  3. Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Technical and Soft Skills:

  1. Familiarity with desktop and laptop hardware components.
  2. Experience with Active Directory for user account management and Intune for device management.
  3. Strong attention to detail, prioritization, and adaptability to new technologies.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively while demonstrating accountability and ownership of tasks.
  5. Empathetic and effective interpersonal skills that foster positive user relationships.
  6. Spanish fluency is a plus, and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
