Pay Range: 51hr - $56hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- Deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong knowledge of AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Experience with networking concepts, including DNS, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and EKS.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, and ELK stack.
- Experience leading production cloud deployments, not just design or advisory roles.
- Ownership of the end-to-end delivery lifecycle including build, test, cutover, stabilization, and handover.
- Experience operating within ITIL processes and change, incident, and problem management workflows.
Experience:
- 10+ years in IT infrastructure.
- At least 5+ years in AWS architecture.
- Proven experience in large-scale enterprise cloud transformations.
- Experience working in regulated industries such as finance or healthcare is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure AWS infrastructure solutions.
- Lead cloud migration strategies including lift-and-shift, re-platforming, and modernization.
- Build and manage core AWS services including EC2, Auto Scaling, Lambda, S3, EBS, EFS, VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, and Direct Connect.
- Design disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity strategies.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and cost in alignment with FinOps practices.
- Implement AWS security best practices including IAM, KMS, Shield, WAF, and GuardDuty.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct architecture reviews and risk assessments.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
- Promote DevOps best practices and SRE principles.
- Deliver cloud architecture blueprints and design documents.
- Create migration plans and execution roadmaps.
- Develop security and compliance frameworks.
- Prepare cost optimization reports.
- Create operational runbooks and automation scripts.
