Senior Labor & Employment Attorney
***Houston, D.C., Chicago, or Charlotte offices preferred. Open to considering other locations. All candidates must be properly licensed.***
A prestigious AmLaw 200 law firm is looking to add a senior staff attorney to its labor and employment team. This position offers flexible hours, including the option to work remotely and maintain a manageable, consistent schedule. You will play an important role within the practice group, collaborating closely with colleagues and serving a portfolio of Fortune 500 clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of litigation tasks such as conducting legal research, preparing legal arguments and briefs, investigating facts and witnesses, handling discovery, and filing motions.
- Provide guidance on employment matters, including drafting and revising workplace policies and employee handbooks for large-scale clients.
- Work alongside multiple partners on complex and impactful cases within the labor and employment field.
- Billable target: 1200 hours
Requirements:
- Minimum of six years of experience practicing employment law at a law firm.
- Admission to the bar in the state where you will be based is required.
- Prior experience advising corporate clients and handling employment-related disputes.
