A growing Houston-based organization is seeking a Staff Accountant for a temporary-to-hire opportunity. This is an excellent fit for an accounting professional who enjoys hands-on, day-to-day accounting operations and wants the potential to transition into a long-term role.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform account and bank reconciliations
- Support month-end close activities
- Track and maintain fixed asset records
- Manage prepaid expense schedules
- Assist with vendor-related accounting transactions
- Process intercompany activity and general ledger transactions
- Partner with internal teams to support ongoing accounting operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Sage experience highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Pay Details: $33.64 to $38.46 per hour
