Senior Application Support Analyst, New York - $150,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits. Hybrid 3 Days a week in New York office.


Our client, an innovative financial technology company is continuing to expand its North American operations and is looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst to help build and shape its growing US support function.


This isn’t a traditional support role. You’ll become one of the senior technical specialists within the team, working directly with enterprise investment management clients, leading complex incident resolution, driving root cause analysis and helping define the support processes and tooling that will scale with the business.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Acting as the senior technical escalation point for enterprise clients.
  • Owning complex application support issues from investigation through to resolution.
  • Leading major incident management and client communications.
  • Working closely with Engineering to troubleshoot, identify root causes and improve platform reliability.
  • Producing high-quality RCA and post-incident reports.
  • Mentoring junior team members as the US team grows.
  • Improving support tooling, automation, monitoring and knowledge management.
  • Helping establish best practices across a global follow-the-sun support model.


We’re looking for someone with:

  • 5+ years’ experience in Application Support, Production Support, or Technical Support within SaaS, FinTech, Capital Markets, or Asset Management.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience across APIs, SQL, cloud environments (AWS/Azure), logs, databases and distributed applications.Experience with REST APIs, JSON, Git and scripting (Python or similar).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Kibana or Grafana.
  • Experience managing major incidents and communicating with enterprise clients under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of financial services or asset management technology, ideally including portfolio management, investment platforms, market data, reconciliations, or trading workflows.
  • A proactive mindset with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for solving complex technical problems.
